Changing Lives in Collaboration (CLIC)

Governance

At CLIC, we believe that strong governance makes a real difference. Our Members, Trustees and Local Governors bring their skills, experience and diverse perspectives together to provide strategic leadership, accountability and challenge.

Members have an overarching role and hold the Trust Board to account. The Trust Board, as CLIC’s legal governing body, is responsible for the strategic leadership and governance of the Trust and holds the executive leadership team to account.

The Trust Board is supported by its Finance and Resources Committee and its Curriculum, Standards and Strategic Direction Committee, and each school’s Local Governing Committee (LGC) provides local oversight, challenge and insight. Our Strategic Hub, which brings together LGC Chairs and Trust Board representation, strengthens communication and collaboration between school-level and Trust-wide governance.

Our Scheme of Delegation sets out how responsibilities and decision-making are distributed throughout our governance structure.
