Becoming a CLIC School
The CLIC Trust currently comprises six primary schools (soon to be seven) in Greater Manchester. We are a close-knit family of schools and our Growth Strategy sets out our plans for future growth to enable us to maintain this family feel. We are really keen for other schools to join us, to add capacity and strength to our Trust and also to welcome schools who require support. Our aim is to grow to at least 10 schools, all primary and all within Greater Manchester.
We are extremely proud of our Core Offer and the impact this has upon our schools and their pupils. This has been seen through rising pupil outcomes, feedback from stakeholders and recognised within recent Ofsted inspections.
‘With the support and direction of the trust, the school has ensured that staff have the information and expertise to deliver the curriculum effectively.’ – Chorlton Park Ofsted Inspection report, June 2024
‘Teachers receive high-quality training. This means that they are expertly equipped to design activities that enable pupils to learn the intended curriculum.’ – Dane Bank Ofsted Inspection report, January 2024
If you would like to know more about what it is like to be an academy in the CLIC Trust, we would love to talk to you and would be more than happy to show you around some of our schools and introduce you to our team. We are keen that interested schools and ourselves spend plenty of time getting to know and fully understand each other, therefore we would welcome schools to work with us for a period of time while our relationship develops, prior to conversion.
We provide a Core Offer of support and a Services Offer to all of our schools, encompassing both horizontal (universal) and vertical (bespoke) support, which offers excellent value for money and impact. We would be very happy to give you further details of this offer, and more information can be found in the ‘Our Trust Offer’ section of this website.
